Mountain huts in Ślemień: three wooden cabins in the Little Beskids, the student Chatka pod Potrójną and two Gibasówka huts on a pass. Basic stays.

Each cabin has its own history and standard. The oldest dates from 1911, the next from 1925, and the third stands beside it.

Which hut near Ślemień is best for an overnight stay?

If you want a bed all year round, choose Chatka pod Potrójną: a private building in an old highlander cottage, bought in 1974 by the Academy of Economics in Katowice. Guests have a kitchen on the ground floor where they can cook their own meal. The description places it in Kocierz Rychwałdzki, in the Łękawica municipality.

On the Gibasy pass, at around eight hundred metres, two cabins stand side by side. Lutecja is a wooden cottage from 1925, a former student hut that again takes guests after renovation. The hut u Stacha is rougher: stoves, well water, an outdoor toilet, and in spring and summer you can sleep on the attic floor on a mat. A list of similar places is under mountain huts, and the area is covered on Ślemień.
