For couples in Szczyrk: Skrzyczne with its chairlift, the Chata Wuja Toma mountain hut and the site of a lost hut at Trzy Kopce. The Silesian Beskids for two.

The town sits beneath Skrzyczne, the tallest summit of the Silesian Beskids. Of the three addresses here, one retains only the remains of a building that no longer stands.

Where to go as a couple in Szczyrk?

At 1,257 metres, Skrzyczne is part of the Crown of Polish Mountains and dominates the town. A chairlift takes you to the top, where a PTTK hut and a radio-TV mast stand and the ski runs start. The peaks above Szczyrk and Bielsko feature in the text Szyndzielnia i Klimczok.

Chata Wuja Toma at 9 Pasterska Street is a year-round tourist hut in a wooden highlander cottage from 1918, below the Karkoszczonka Pass. It is a goal for short trips. The site of the former hut at Trzy Kopce is today only the remains of foundations beside the yellow trail: the 1937 building, at about 1,080 metres, no longer exists.

The development of the resort is told in the article Szczyrk: jak ze wsi pod Skrzycznem powstał ośrodek narciarski. Similar ideas are under places for couples and on the page for Szczyrk.
