The choice centres on two mountains, Równica and Czantoria, and one place in the valley. You can build a day outdoors from it, or a shorter plan with a visit indoors.
With children it is best to start at the Forest Park of Surprises. It is a zoo of 15 ha on Równica's slope, amid old beeches, opened in 2002. The visit follows paths with a total length of 3.5 km. About 30 species live in the park, among them red deer, bison and mouflon, and there are also displays of flights of birds of prey and owls.
On Równica families have a second place, the Równica Mountain Park. Open seven days a week, it has a toboggan run all year, a playground and a children's slide, plus a spherical cinema, a 7D cinema and quad bikes. You can eat in a two-level inn. The rope park at the top of the same mountain means most of a day can be spent on Równica.
The Rope Park on Równica operates at the summit. It has high ropes courses and a separate children's course with 26 obstacles, which according to the venue's website is the longest in the region. Children from 5 years can use it on their own, younger ones only with a parent.
The Summer Toboggan Run on Czantoria is a gravity slide on which sledges run under their own weight. It sits just below the upper chairlift station on Czantoria Wielka and belongs to the summer offer of the Czantoria cable-car resort.
