What to do alone in Złatna? Two huts in the Żywiec Beskids and a timber forester's lodge of 1853 on the Wooden Architecture Trail.
The three places for a solo visit combine mountain huts with a monument of timber architecture, so you can choose a mountain hike or a calmer walk around the lodge.
The forester's lodge in Złatna is a timber building of 1853 listed as a monument, in the Ujsoły municipality, on the Wooden Architecture Trail of the Silesian Voivodeship. It is log-built from larch beams on a high stone foundation. Five lime trees protected as natural monuments surround it.
For those who prefer the mountains there is the PTTK hut on Hala Lipowska, opened in 1932 on a meadow above Złatna and Rajcza. Lower down, in Złatna-Huta, stands the Gawra hut at 680 m above sea level, with a snack bar and a campfire shelter. Today it is a private accommodation venue.
