For couples in Jaworzno: a triangular market square by the collegiate church, Sosina lake with a bathing area and an 1848 stone rail bridge.

Jaworzno offers a town square, water left by a former sand quarry and a piece of technical heritage. Each place suits a different outing, from a short walk to a whole day by the water.

Where can two go in Jaworzno?

The Main Market Square in the Śródmieście district is oddly triangular. A collegiate church of St Adalbert and St Catherine closes it on one side and the modern library building on the other. A renovation in 2012-2013 turned it into a pedestrian area.

Sosina is a 50-hectare lake that appeared in the 1960s inside a worked-out sand quarry. Its south-western shore has a guarded beach, and water equipment can be hired there. Another 30 ha of woods and meadows surround the water.

The railway bridge over the Biała Przemsza near Maczki is a six-span stone structure of 1848, 70 metres long. It lies on the border of Jaworzno and Sosnowiec and was once a frontier bridge of the Warsaw-Vienna Railway.
