Parks in Częstochowa include the listed Jasna Góra parks, the vast Lisiniec with a beach and the small neighbourhood Parkitka.
These are three very different parks: a historic one by the monastery, a large recreational one by the water and a modest estate park. Each suits a different kind of outing.
The Jasna Góra parks consist of two city parks, Staszic and 3 Maja, which embrace the monastery on Jasna Góra from the east. They are listed as a historic monument; pavilions from the 1909 exhibition stand in them, and a mining museum operates underground.
Lisiniec Park, laid out in the 1970s, covers 41.23 ha. Three bodies of water are complemented by a beach, a pedal-boat and kayak rental and a rope park.
Parkitka Park lies in the Częstochówka-Parkitka district. The city laid it out in 2002 on a mere 1.8 ha, on ground acquired for a housing estate of the 1980s. It is everyday greenery, not the goal of a long trip.

Lisiniec, at 41.23 ha. The Jasna Góra parks are smaller but hold the status of a monument of history.
