Gliwice for families: Kolejkowo, a trampoline park, Funzeum, the Dżungla play centre and LEGO workshops, five indoor places for children.

All of Gliwice's family places are inside buildings, so the weather does not spoil plans. Three of them stand in one complex, the Europa Centralna complex at number 315 of Pszczyńska Street, while the other two are in the city centre. More suggestions from across the region are collected under for families in Silesia, and further spots in Gliwice itself on the Gliwice page.

What can you see with children in Gliwice in a single place?

In one shopping complex, Europa Centralna: Kolejkowo, House of Air and Funzeum sit next to one another, so one outing is enough for a whole day of play.

At Kolejkowo children explore a miniature world: thousands of figurines among hundreds of buildings and a dozen trains, with parts you can set going yourself. The model recreates the Gliwice area with bridges, tunnels and water. At Funzeum, movement and hands-on play count: four themed zones, workshops and a running area, all on a large floor. House of Air is a hall of trampolines with extra amusements. Children from four can bounce in the main zone, while younger ones have a separate Kids Zone corner.

Where do the youngest children play in Gliwice?

At the Dżungla play centre on Świętojańska Street 57, which has slides, an obstacle course and a separate room for children under five. Toddlers will find toys and educational elements there.

Younger siblings also have the Kids Zone at House of Air, and at Funzeum children join workshops. Dżungla lies in the city centre, so it combines well with a stroll around Gliwice.

Where does a child learn something while playing?

At the Bricks 4 Kidz centre on Zawiszy Czarnego Street 22, where classes are built around LEGO bricks. The centre runs workshops, birthday parties and holiday day camps.

The classes use the so-called STEAM approach, mixing science, engineering and creative play. The centre belongs to a chain with branches in Zabrze and Katowice.
