Mysłowice

blue hiking trail through Mysłowice, Lędziny and Imielin, with the Wesoła Fala centre along the route

Trails in Mysłowice include two PTTK walking routes from Giszowiec and the Former Borderland cycle trail. Choose your distance and your wheels or boots.

Two routes are meant for walkers and one for cyclists. They differ in length and character, so it pays to match them to the day.

Which trail near Mysłowice suits a single day?

The longest is the blue Hołdunów Trail, a walking route of about twenty-seven kilometres from Giszowiec in Katowice to Jaworzno-Jeleń, passing through Mysłowice, Lędziny and Imielin. It is maintained by PTTK. The second is the red Kantor-Mirski Trail, which starts by the Barbara-Janina centre in Giszowiec and ends in Mysłowice, passing the Murcki Valley and the Murcki Forest.

On two wheels, take the red Former Borderland route. It follows the line between the Prussian and Russian partitions and was marked out in 2012, but its whole length of 10.2 km runs through Sosnowiec, from the Millennium Park to the Three Emperors' Corner. More routes can be found under trails and among the places in Mysłowice.
